Tamara : Jazz At The Gardner

On March 15, 2012, Tamara was a featured singer, performer, and the show choreographer for
A Tribute To Lena Horne – The Lady, The Music, The Legacy, presented by
Jazz At The Gardner, at the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum.

The program notes state that: Tamara is a triple threat. She sings, acts, and dances. She choreographed all the dancing for this tribute. A native of Mexico, Tamara is completing her studies at Berklee College of Music.

The tribute was presented, directed and conceived by Larry Watson for SaveOurSelves Productions.

Scott Nickrenz is The Music Director for Jazz At The Gardner.

Ron Savage hosted the event.

Major underwriting for the event was provided by Fidelity Investments, National Endowment for the Arts, and Massachusetts Cultural Council.
